Biography:
Abraham Orlando Nunez...Graduate of Emmanuel High School (Santo Domingo), where he played baseball and volleyball.
Nunez ranked fourth in the National League with 62 at-bats as a pinch-hitter. His 15 pinch hits fell four short of the franchise single-season record. Nunez made 32 appearances at second base, 13 at shortstop and six at third base. He tossed 1/3 scoreless inning of relief against the Cubs on May 30 in his first career pitching appearance.
