Fantasy Baseball is an integrated math program for students in grades 4-8.
Students learn mathematics skills through baseball statistics in a way that is fun and engaging, and use statistics from current Pirates Players, as well as player cards they create, to compete against one another in simulated baseball games.
The program promotes higher order science, technology, engineering and math skills (STEM).
Applications are now available for the 2016 Fantasy Baseball Math program, a curriculum-based program suitable for in-school and after-school programs. The program begins with a teacher training in January and concludes with a Fantasy Baseball Math "World Series" at PNC Park in May. For more information, please download the application below.
