Livan Hernandez on Sunday was the equivalent of a boxer who was knocked down in the first round, but hung in to win a decision. Hernandez gave up three runs in the first inning but followed that with six shutout innings, while the Mets staged a big rally, highlighted by an RBI squeeze-bunt single by Luis Castillo.
