 Beltran's two-run homer
It was another sterling performance by the Mets' bullpen, which took over for an ineffective Dave Williams to throw 4 2/3 scoreless innings in the finale. But the Mets offense was held in check, with Carlos Beltran doing most of the damage with a two-run blast.
