Carpenter sharp in win

Chris Carpenter showed off the stuff that earned him the Cy Young award last year, giving up two hits, no earned runs and striking out 13 over seven innings in Tuesday's victory over the Pirates. Scott Rolen went 4-for-4 to provide most of the offense.
