Maine's start may be moved to Monday in Philadelphia

The club said they will celebrate Jackie Robinson on Friday night before its 7:10 p.m. ET contest against the Atlanta Braves. Pregame festivities are expected to begin at 6:30. Tickets for Sunday's game can be exchanged for an equivalent ticket for Friday, while supplies last.
John Maine was to have started for the Mets. His start has been pushed to Monday night in the opener of the Mets' two-game series in Philadelphia. He will be pitching with six days' rest, hardly his preference. Freddy Garcia is to start for the Phillies, whose Sunday game against the Astros also was rained out.
Tom Glavine remains on schedule and will start on Tuesday night, opposite Jamie Moyer, as he did Thursday night at Shea. Oliver Perez now is to start Wednesday night in Miami when the Mets begin a two-game series against the Marlins. He, too, will pitch on six days' rest.
Mike Pelfrey now will start Thursday night's game in Miami on five days' rest, with Orlando Hernandez, ineffective against the Nationals on Saturday, opening the home series against the Braves on Friday night. El Duque will be followed by Maine and Glavine.
