The legendary Midtown Irish Party-Pub, McFadden's Restaurant and Saloon, will open its newest location at Citi Field, the home of the New York Mets, in Flushing, Queens this season. From the corner tavern on 42nd and 2nd in Manhattan, to the 13,000 square-foot outpost at Citi Field, McFadden's stays true to its roots providing patrons with an unpretentious party before, during, and after the games, while serving up tasty creations as the only public restaurant at the ballpark. McFadden's at Citi Field will be open year-round and will be located on 126th street, in the northeast corner of the ballpark directly under the 2K Sports FanFest.

The state-of-the-art facility will include a 200 foot island bar, outdoor patios, a large full service dining room, batting cages, in house TV and Radio production and over 80 huge high-definition plasma TVs and projectors.

In preparation for their arrival to the world-class ballpark, McFadden's will be hosting Mets fans citywide at the flagship location on 42nd St every Tuesday in March, starting on Tuesday March 2nd to celebrate the Mets first spring training game. Mets fans are encouraged to visit McFadden's at 800 Second Avenue for great drink specials, Mets giveaways and a chance to win tickets to games. That's right, every Tuesday in March, McFadden's will be giving away VIP ticket packages to upcoming Mets games; and with $1 beers it's a hard offer to refuse.

In addition to boasting a full bar, McFadden's Citi Field will offer extensive Irish American cuisine mixed with traditional game day favorites. Signature dishes include Almost Famous Boneless Buffalo Wings, Fish and Chips, and of course McFadden's Five Minute Cheese Steak Nachos, this savory crowd pleaser comes out in five minutes or it's free!

Built in New York City in 1977 by Irishman, Steve McFadden, McFadden's has grown to 14 locations nationwide. Steve's mission of providing a place for family and friends to gather and celebrate good times while enjoying great food and drinks has been the key to their success. When you combine that kind of unaffected love with great draught beer and a party atmosphere, it's no wonder that McFadden's has hosted millions of good times and special occasions throughout the years.
