  • Homestand highlights (Wednesday, June 29-Thursday, July 7, 2016)

    After completing another winning road trip (5-3), which included a sweep of the Chicago Cubs, the Cardinals return to Busch Stadium for a nine game homestand. The homestand starts with a two game series versus the defending World Series Champion Kansas City Royals (June 29-30), continues with three games against the Milwaukee Brewers (July 1-3) and concludes with four games versus the Pittsburgh Pirates (July 4-7). The last homestand before the All-Star Break is highlighted by Independence Day, a 1926 World Series Championship Ring giveaway and John Goodman Night. Additionally, fans are encouraged to #VoteMolina for the 2016 All-Star Game in San Diego at through the end of the voting period on Thursday, June 30.

  • Cardinals activate catcher Brayan Pena from DL

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to tonight's game that they have activated switch-hitting catcher Brayan Pena (left knee surgery) from the 15-day disabled list and designated catcher Eric Fryer for assignment.

    The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to today's game that they have activated right-handed pitcher Seth Maness from the 15-day disabled list (right elbow inflammation) and optioned left-handed pitcher Dean Kiekhefer to Memphis (AAA).

    Pham, 28, the Cardinals Opening Day starter in left field, was batting a combined .250 (31-for-124) with 4 HR's and 19 RBI in 37 games with Memphis (AAA) and Springfield (AA).

  • Cardinals sign 2016 first round pick Dakota Hudson

    Hudson, 21, is a 6-foot-5, 215-pound, college junior, who was 9-5 with a 2.55 ERA in 17 starts for Mississippi State University. He was the Friday night starter for the No. 6 National-Seeded Bulldogs, who advanced to the Super Regional.
