    Houston Astros catcher Brian McCann will be the featured guest on Astroline tomorrow, Jan. 18 at 6 p.m. CT. Astros television broadcaster Todd Kalas will serve as host. Kalas is making his 2017-18 debut on Astroline, which is hosted weekly by a rotation of Astros radio and television broadcasters.

  • Astros Foundation to Host Third-Annual Diamond Dreams Gala on Friday, Jan. 19

    The Astros Foundation is hosting the third-annual Diamond Dreams Gala featuring legendary performer Gladys Knight on the field of Minute Maid Park on Friday, Jan. 19. The charitable event will benefit the Astros Foundation as well as New Hope Housing, an organization combatting homelessness by providing housing and support services for those in need.

  • Astros Acquire Gerrit Cole from Pirates

    The Houston Astros have acquired right-handed pitcher Gerrit Cole from the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for right-handed pitcher Michael Feliz, infielder Colin Moran, right-handed pitcher Joe Musgrove and outfield prospect Jason Martin. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Jeff Luhnow.

  • Astros agree to terms with five players

    The Houston Astros have agreed to terms on one-year contracts with catcher Evan Gattis, left-handed pitcher Dallas Keuchel, outfielder Jake Marisnick, right-handed pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. and right-handed pitcher Brad Peacock.

  • Alex Bregman to be Astroline Guest on Thursday

    Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman will be the guest on Astroline on Thursday, Jan. 11 at 6 p.m. CT. Astros radio broadcaster Steve Sparks will serve as host. This week's Astroline is part of the 2018 Houston Astros Caravan, presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors, which features Bregman and Sparks making appearances throughout the city on Thursday.   • Astros to Host Houston Winter Invitational in February

    Tickets for the sixth annual Houston Winter Invitational, which will be held at Minute Maid Park from Feb. 2-4, are available for purchase online now. The tournament will feature six NCAA Division II universities, squaring off in nine games across the three days. Tickets can be purchased at Astros.com/Invitational.

  • Astros Announce 2018 Caravan Schedule

    The 2018 Houston Astros Caravan presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors begins on Wednesday, January 10. The annual community outreach tour consists of several trips over the course of three days with stops in the Houston area (Jan. 10 - 12), Austin (Jan. 10), San Antonio (Jan. 11), and Corpus Christi (Jan. 11), and culminates with the annual Astros FanFest at Minute Maid Park on Saturday, Jan. 13.

  • Astros Championship Trophy Tour presented by Mattress Firm Kicks Off Jan. 8

    The Astros announced today that the Astros Championship Trophy Tour presented by Mattress Firm will kick off on Monday, Jan. 8 at Houston's City Hall, located at 901 Bagby St. in downtown at 10:00 a.m. Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Astros President of Business Operations Reid Ryan and Mattress Firm President and CEO Ken Murphy will be on-hand to celebrate the launch of the tour.
