Cardinals disable pitcher Matt Belisle
The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to tonight's series opener with the Chicago White Sox that they have placed right-handed pitcher Matt Belisle (right elbow inflammation) on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to June 26, and have purchased right-handed reliever Marcus Hatley from Memphis (AAA).
