The announcement was made by Marlins President of Baseball Operations Michael Hill.

  • Marlins Sign Top Three Draft Picks in Class of 2017

    The Marlins selected just four high school players with their 41 selections from June 12-14. Miami selected 10 consecutive college players after Rogers, including University of North Carolina center fielder Brian Miller (Raleigh, NC) in Competitive Balance Round A (36th overall); and North Carolina State shortstop Joe Dunand (Miami, FL) in the second round (51st), both of whom are among today's signings.

  • Marlins announce partnership with Uber

    The Miami Marlins and Uber today announced an innovative partnership to enhance the fan experience at Marlins Park. Through the partnership, Uber becomes the preferred ridesharing partner of the Miami Marlins. The new deal includes a designated pick-up and drop-off lot, located along NW 5th Street and 14th Avenue, for fans using Uber for all Marlins home games and all other events taking place at Marlins Park. The designated lot is now operating, just in time for this homestand's highly anticipated matchups with the Washington Nationals, Chicago Cubs and the New York Mets.

  • Marlins to host the Nationals, Cubs and Mets from June 19-29

    The Miami Marlins begin a 10-game homestand tomorrow, with the opener of a three-game set against the Washington Nationals. Miami will then take on the Chicago Cubs in a four-game series. Following an off-day on Monday, June 26, the Marlins will conclude the homestand with three games against the New York Mets. This marks Miami's final homestand before the 2017 All-Star Game at Marlins Park.

  • Marlins select Trevor Rogers 13th overall in MLB first-year player draft

    The Miami Marlins used 37 of their 41 picks in the 2017 MLB First-Year Player Draft to select players from the college ranks, but it was left-handed pitcher Trevor Rogers out of Carlsbad High School (NM) whose name went up first on the club's draft board, taken 13th overall in the first round.
