Harold Reynolds

MLB Network Studio Analyst

Harold Reynolds, a two-time American League All-Star and Emmy-Award winning broadcaster, is an MLB Network studio analyst. During the regular season, Reynolds co-hosts MLB Now with Brian Kenny, and he appears as an analyst on MLB Tonight and MLB Network's special event coverage. Throughout the offseason, Reynolds can be seen co-hosting the weekday morning show Hot Stove with Matt Vasgersian. Reynolds was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award for his work as a studio analyst on MLB Network in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

MLB Now represents two different groups of baseball fans and how they watch the game today as Brian Kenny, armed with his analytic acumen, matches wits with 12-year MLB veteran Reynolds on daily news across the league.

In the offseason where news can break at any moment, Hot Stove starts a baseball fan's day by providing live analysis, debate and interviews with MLB Network insiders, current MLB players and celebrity baseball fans.

Reynolds has interviewed some of the biggest names in baseball and beyond for MLB Network, including Derek Jeter, Torii Hunter, Ryan Howard, B.J. and Justin Upton, Hall of Famers Rickey Henderson and Jim Rice and President Bill Clinton.

In addition to his work on MLB Network, Reynolds regularly appears as analyst on Fox Saturday Baseball Pregame Show, which airs live from MLB Network's Studio 3.

Reynolds joined MLB.com in 2007 as a baseball commentator and in 2008 joined Mets pre- and post-game coverage on SNY as a baseball commentator. Reynolds also worked on TBS' Sunday Baseball MLB Playoff coverage in 2008.

From 1996 to 2006, Reynolds served as a studio analyst for ESPN's award-winning Baseball Tonight and provided commentary for the Little League and College World Series for ESPN and ABC Sports, culminating in a Sports Emmy Award for his ESPN work in 2003.

Reynolds debuted with the Mariners in 1983 and spent 10 of his 12 Major League seasons with the club, earning two All-Star berths and three Gold Glove awards at second. He would play a year each with the Orioles and Angels. Reynolds led the American League in steals in 1987 and is among the Seattle Mariners' career leaders in 10 offensive categories. Reynolds was a career .258 hitter with 21 home runs and 353 RBI in 1374 games.
