February 27, 1970 > A threat to Chicago Cubs great Ernie Banks is removed when the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrests a man named Lawrence Bankhead in Chicago. The FBI charges Bankhead with making threatening phone calls to the future Hall-of-Famer, who is heading into the penultimate season of his 19-year Major League career.
