Join us for one of the most moving weekends at our stadium, when the entire Dodger community comes together in solidarity against cancer.
#ThinkCureWeekend 2015 will take place Friday, August 14th and Saturday, August 15th at Dodger Stadium and will raise both awareness and funds for ThinkCure!, an official charity of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Throughout the weekend, we'll be recognizing our courageous cancer patients and survivors, honoring loved ones and paying tribute to the hard working health care workers and researchers that are on the front lines of the fight against cancer. When we ThinkCure! together, we progress, we heal and we inspire.
Look for one of our many ThinkCure! volunteers to make a cash donation. To donate by credit card, visit www.thinkcure.org. Every single dollar you contribute makes a difference in the lives of cancer patients - the progress we've seen in treatments over the past 20 years prove that.

ThinkCure! is an innovative, community-based non-profit organization that raises funds for collaborative research aimed at finding a cure for cancer. Our vision is to bring Southern Californians together to work towards a common cause to cure children and adults with cancer. Our partners City of Hope is one of the leading cancer research institutions.
Since our inception we have worked with Dodger fans towards a common cause - to cure children and adults with cancer. We have granted nearly 2 million dollars to cancer research, funding collaborative and innovative projects with City of Hope. We are calling on everyone in our community to get involved and make a difference in our fight against cancer.
Even if we don't quite know exactly what the cure will look like, victory is within our reach. Today, more than 11.1 million people in the United States are living with a previous diagnosis of cancer, far higher than the 3 million who were cancer survivors in 1971. For children, the statistics are even brighter: 30 years ago, about half of children with cancer were cured; today, 90% are cured.
So here's how we decided to try to make a difference: We raise the money, and then we turn it over to the researchers to work collaboratively to make important discoveries and find cures. Researchers, who are based at City of Hope in Duarte leverage their expertise in fields that are crucial to modern cancer research, and collaborate to better understand and treat brain tumors, leukemia, lymphoma, neuroblastoma and other cancers.
Through its grant making process, ThinkCure! is helping Los Angeles area cancer researchers to set an example that the whole region could someday follow-medical advancement through true teamwork.
