April 9, 2016 - Angels 5K & Fun Run + Health Expo

The 6th annual Angels 5K & Fun Run presented by St. Joseph Hoag Health took place on Saturday. April 9th. Participants had the opportunity to run and walk the course which went throughout Angel Stadium, including behind home plate, and concluded in front of the Home Plate Gate and the 2016 Heath Fair/Expo. April 22, 2016 - Jackie Robinson Night

On April 22th, Angels joined, MLB, its clubs, players and fans to recognize Jackie Robinson Day and celebrate his monumental impact on baseball and civil rights for all. All Angels' players will wear the retired #42 jersey in honor of Jackie Robinson.

April 23, 2016 - Angels RBI Baseball Clinic at Angel Stadium

The Angels will host a morning Baseball Clinic at Angel Stadium for the members of the Angels RBI League. The Angels RBI League, in partnership with Major League Baseball, Angels Baseball and local Boys & Girls Clubs, provides kids who would otherwise not have the chance, the opportunity to play baseball and softball in an organized league. During the clinic, members of the league, ages 12 to 18, practice their fielding, batting, sliding, and pitching skills in the Angels outfield with Boys & Girls Club staff, local coaches, and Angels players and coaches.

April 26, 2016 - CIF Awards Night

The Angels are proud to annually honor the winners of the annual CIF Southern Section Academic Awards program during an on-field pre-game ceremony. These awards are given to local high school athletic teams who achieve at least a 3.0 grade point average during the first semester of the 2015-2016 school year. Each of the CIF-SS schools also selects a male and female individual Student-Athlete of the Year. After being recognized on the field, the group is invited to enjoy a great night of Angels Baseball with friends and family.

April 27-28, 2016 - i ♥ oc Giving Day

The Orange County Community Foundation is super-charging local philanthropy with OC's second annual i ♥ oc Giving Day, 6 a.m. April 27 - Noon April 28. With 415 nonprofits participating there are plenty of opportunities to give where your heart lives. Make a donation to the cause closest to your heart.

May 8, 2016 - Mother's Day and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Breast Cancer Awareness Day

The Angels are proud to partner with Major League Baseball and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation in their fight against breast cancer. During the game, the Angels join teams across MLB supporting the cause by wearing pink wristbands and pink ribbons on their uniforms. Players have the opportunity to use pink bats, which will later be auctioned to raise money for this important cause.

Prior to the game, the Angels and representatives from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation will honor breast cancer survivors during a pre-game ceremony. The Angels will also recognize an Honorary Bat Girl Winner, chosen by fans through a League-wide contest.

May 9, 2016 - Albert Pujols Celebrity Golf Classic, Pelican Hill Golf Course

The 14th Annual Albert Pujols Celebrity Golf Classic took place at Pelican Hill Golf Course in Newport Beach. The event featured athletes, sports personalities and entertainers along with an awards ceremony, dinner and auction. The tournament provided an entertaining event to raise funds and awareness for the Pujols Family Foundation.

May 11, 2016 - Water Awareness Night

The Anaheim City Council has proclaimed May as Water Awareness Month. For many years, Anaheim Public Utilities has sponsored a Water Conservation Poster Contest for all Anaheim students in first through sixth grade as part of its Water Awareness Month campaign. The Angels will honor the first, second and third place winners of the Water Conservation Poster Contest during a pre-game ceremony. Participating in this contest helps raise the awareness of the importance of water conservation in Anaheim children and their artwork spreads the message throughout the community. After the ceremony the winners are able to enjoy a night of baseball with their families and friends.

May 28, 2016 - Gold Ball Mystery Grab Bag, benefitting Special Olympics

On Saturday, May 28tht, the Angels and Special Olympics, Southern California hosted the sixth "Gold Ball Mystery Grab Bag" event at the Big "A." The Angels' Wives and Special Olympics athletes sold $40 "mystery bags" from 5:30p.m. until all the bags were sold out. Each bag contained a baseball autographed by current Angels player or coach*. Additionally, raffle tickets were be sold for the opportunity to win other autographed and game used Angels items.

Fans also had the chance to win one of the 12 baseballs wrapped in gold paper hidden in the mystery bags. The winners of these gold balls will won four tickets to an upcoming game and the chance to meet the Angel who signed the ball during batting practice.

Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics, Southern California and the Angels Baseball Foundation.

*Please note that due to the limited number of "Mystery Bags," there will be a two (2) bag limit per person, while supplies last.

MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Finals at Angel Stadium

The MLB Pitch, Hit and Run is the official youth skills competition of Major League Baseball. Boys and girls, ages 7 to 14, are given the opportunity to showcase their abilities in three fundamental skills: pitching, hitting and running. The Angels will honor the local winners of the MLB Pitch, Hit and Run competition during tonight's pre-game ceremonies. The group will compete earlier in the day at Angel Stadium of Anaheim for a morning skills contest. Participants advance through four levels of competition: Local, Sectional, Team and National with the National Finals to be held at the 2016 All-Star Game at Petco Park.

Intended to encourage youth participation and emphasize the fun of baseball, MLB Pitch, Hit and Run gives kids nationwide the opportunity to compete free of charge. For more information, please visit

May 31, 2016 - Angels to Honor the Eleventh Class of Angels Scholars

Prior to the night's game, the Angels honored the 2016 Angels Scholars class in a pregame on-field ceremony. The Angels Baseball Foundation and the Orange County Department of Education identify outstanding eighth graders based on their academic achievement, financial need and enrollment in the college preparatory program, AVID. The Angels Baseball Foundation will award each Angels Scholar a partial scholarship upon their acceptance into a four-year college.

The seventh class of Angels Scholars will graduate from High School this year and will receive their scholarships once accepted into college along with a new laptop generously donated by Toshiba.

June 14, 2016 - Heart of 29, the American Heart Association

In partnership with baseball legend Rod Carew and his wife Rhonda, the Angels will launch a year-long campaign to promote awareness of cardiovascular disease. The Heart of 29 campaign honors the Carew's wish to assist the American Heart Association following the Hall of Famer's recent heart attack and subsequent surgery. Rod had an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) implanted during surgery and is anticipating the possibility of a heart transplant.

On June 14th, both the Angels and Twins will be wearing a Heart of 29 patches to honor Carew and the campaign during pre-game batting practice. Fans will also be able to purchase tickets for the game and receive a special red Angel hat with a Heart of 29 patch. A portion of the tickets sold will benefit the American Heart Association.

June 15, 2016 - MLB Prostate Cancer Awareness

June 24, 2016 - Angels Wives and Anaheim Fire Fighters to "Fill the Boot"

Join the Angels Wives and members of the Anaheim Firefighter's Association as they host their annual "Fill the Boot" fundraiser benefitting the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Orange County. They will be collecting cash and coin from 5 p.m. through the 2nd inning outside the gates of Angel Stadium. The Angels Wives and Anaheim Fire Department will present the funds raised to MDA during a pregame ceremony later in the season. For more information please visit the Angels Facebook page.

June 25, 2016 - Halfway to Christmas Toy Drive

For each new toy (minimum value of $10.00) donated during the Halfway to Christmas toy drive the donor will receive a voucher for an upcoming home Angels game. Please bring new unwrapped toys for children 6-15. Toys collected in June will be donated to children from local non-profit organization during the Angels Baseball Foundation's Kid Holiday party in December.

June 25, 2016 - C.J. Cron Appearance

Angels first baseman C.J. Cron will make an appearance at the Cox Communications Store on Saturday, June 25th at 23704 El Toro Rd., Lake Forest, CA 92630 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

September 16, 2016 - Angels for Animals - Adoption Awareness Night at Angel Stadium

Join the Angels wives and girlfriends on September 16 for an Angels for Animals - Adoption Awareness Night at Angel Stadium. Prior to the night's game OC Animal Care will showcase animals which are available for adoption.

September 17, 2016 - OC Animal Care

The following morning, Saturday, September 17th, Angels pitcher Garret Richards and fiancée Alexis will be at the OC Animal Care for the Forever Friends for Free Adoption event. Richards will be signing autographs* from 11 a.m. - noon for fans who donate an item from the OC Animal Care's wish list. *Autographs are limited to one autographed item per person.

Wish list: new or gently used towels or blankets, dog treats, durable dog toys, food and water dishes.

Also on Saturday the 17th, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. OC Animal Care will be offering free adoptions. Please note not included in these free adoptions is the cost of a Microchip ($17) and Licensing ($27). For more information please visit

November 18-20, 2016 - Angels Groundskeepers Thanksgiving Holiday Canned Food Drive

The Angels' Groundskeepers will host their 15th annual Thanksgiving Holiday Canned Food Drive from Friday, November 18 thru Sunday, November 20 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim (weather permitting). All proceeds will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County in the fight against hunger during the holiday season.

Donations of three cans of non-perishable food or $2 will be good for one swing against a pitching machine with a maximum of 20 pitches per participant. A donation of two canned food items or $1 per pitch will allow fans to test their pitching skills in the bullpen. Fans will also have the opportunity to shag fly balls in the outfield for a donation of $25 for 30 minutes. The Angels will provide bats, balls and helmets. The Angels Clubhouse Attendants will also provide a tour of the Clubhouse for a donation of $20 for adults and $15 for children.

Friday, November 18th - 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 19th - 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 20th - 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Entrance: Participants can enter Angel Stadium through Gate #1.

Please note that these activities are a first-come, first-served basis with daily capacity limits that are reached regularly prior to the event ending. Line cut offs are implemented on a needs base. Guests are encouraged to arrive early in order to avoid cut offs.

All proceeds will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County in the fight against hunger during the holiday season.

November 27-28, 2016 - Holiday Photo in the Clubhouse

Join Santa and the Angels on November 27th and 28th as we get into the Holiday spirit. With the donation of one new unwrapped toy, valued at $10.00 or more, fans can get a rare glimpse into the Angels Clubhouse and take a photo with Santa. by hosting fans in the Angels Clubhouse.

  • Times for photos are: November 27th (2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.) & November 28th (4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
  • One toy donation = Access to the clubhouse for photos with Santa
  • Must be a new, unwrapped toy with a suggested retail value of $10
  • Participants must bring their own camera to use
  • No animals are allowed in the Clubhouse
