The Mets will conduct a random selection of individuals from the pool of registrants for 2008 postseason ticket opportunities for each postseason series at Shea Stadium, Flushing, NY. The randomly selected individuals will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to one (1) game that may be played at Shea Stadium during the 2008 MLB postseason series for which the drawing is held. Exact date, times and instructions for ticket purchase will be communicated by e-mail to each individual selected. If a selected individual does not follow these instructions, he or she will forfeit the opportunity to purchase tickets. There is no charge to register for this opportunity. There is no obligation to buy a ticket or to purchase the maximum number of tickets allowed. There is no assurance that any particular registrant will be selected for the opportunity to purchase tickets. Selected individuals may not transfer this purchase opportunity. Upon conclusion of the Ticket Opportunity sale, any unsold tickets may be sold through any regular sales channels, including mets.com. In the event the integrity or operation of the Ticket Opportunity is compromised for any reason, including from fraud or technical problems, the Mets reserve the right to either (a) suspend the registration to correct the impairment and then resume the registration; or (b) select registrants at random from among the eligible registrants received up to the time of the impairment.
In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. In addition, you must complete and submit the entry form located above during the Registration Period. Limit one entry per person. In the case of multiple entries for the same individual, only the first entry received will be considered. Only entries submitted to the Mets during the Registration Period will be entered in the random drawing. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other mechanical or automated means will not be valid. The term "Registration Period" as used herein refers to the period of time during which registration will be open, which will begin at noon Eastern Time (ET) on Monday, September 8, 2008 and will end at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday, September 15, 2008 for the National League Division Series, and (if applicable) at 11:59 p.m. ET on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 for the National League Championship Series, and (if applicable) at 11:59 p.m. ET, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 for the World Series.
